Dalvey House is situated a short level walk from local shops and is on a main bus route to Christchurch and Bournemouth. We are also just a few minutes level walk to the seafront.
At Dalvey House we are proud of our home and the quality of life that we are able to provide to our 23 residents. Dalvey House welcomes both male and female clients age 60 years and above for intermediate, respite, long term care, palliative and terminal care.
We offer a warm, friendly home where residents are supported on an individual basis, respecting their rights to informed choice, privacy and dignity at all times. We aim to enable each person to maximise their independence by agreeing with them individual care plans, supporting them with risk-taking, and encouraging them to retain their activities and daily living capabilities. Our qualified staff liaise with the clients’ general practitioner and other professionals when necessary to ensure residents receive the medical care they require.
It is the aim of Dalvey House to create a secure, relaxed, happy and homely atmosphere for both residents and for staff, so that residents are provided with excellent care.
We encourage residents to maintain links with friends and family and we welcome them to the home as we believe this is integral to fulfilling an individual’s social, emotional and spiritual needs.
